Lumi Tours offers package holidays subject to the Swedish Package Travel Act.
Travel Terms for Package Holidays under the Package Travel Act
These terms supplement the Swedish Package Travel Act and apply to package holidays sold by Lumi Tours.
Booking Details
It is the responsibility of the buyer, or the person registered as the lead traveler, to immediately check that the booking confirmation sent via email matches the booked travel products. If any discrepancies are found or if confirmation is not received immediately after booking, Lumi Tours should be contacted immediately via email at info@lumitours.se or by phone.
Communication Regarding Booking
For security and privacy reasons, all communication regarding a booking must come from the person registered as the lead booker and be sent from the email address provided at the time of booking. Lumi Tours is obligated to protect the privacy of its customers and cannot respond to or make changes to a booking unless the request comes from the lead booker. If the lead booker cannot communicate directly with Lumi Tours, an official power of attorney is required.
Name Details
It is the buyer's responsibility to provide correct names for all travelers. Names should be provided as follows:
-
Surname: All surnames, exactly as shown in the passport.
-
First Name: First given name, exactly as shown in the passport.
Please note that names must be provided exactly as in the passport. Some airlines and hotels do not allow name changes. If the name change is not accepted by the airline, a new ticket must be booked. Only the buyer or lead traveler can request changes to a booked trip, and this must be done at least 7 working days before departure. If a change is possible, the buyer is responsible for any costs incurred. All changes must be confirmed in writing by both the buyer and Lumi Tours before they are made.
Administrative Fee for Name Changes
If a name change is possible, Lumi Tours charges an administrative fee in addition to any costs charged by the airline or hotel. The fee is always at least 495 SEK per person. Name changes must be completed before departure and confirmed in writing by both the buyer and Lumi Tours before they are made. Only the buyer or lead traveler can request changes to a booked trip.
Administrative Fee for Flight Tax Refunds
If a refund for flight tax is possible, Lumi Tours charges an administrative fee of 495 SEK per person.
Payment
The buyer can pay with bank, debit, or credit cards. The card is charged immediately at the time of payment. No fees are added regardless of card type. Only cards issued in EU countries and Schengen area countries are accepted. In the event of a refund, the same card used for payment will be credited. It may take up to three banking days for the funds to appear on the card. Lumi Tours uses 3D Secure to encrypt all card payments. No information entered during encryption is stored by Lumi Tours after the trip is completed. Regardless of the supplier's rules, the buyer's account is charged at the time of booking.
Regardless of the payment method, the buyer is bound by the travel agreement as if 100% of the trip's price has been paid at the time of booking.
Points from airline loyalty and membership programs (e.g., EuroBonus, Reward, Finnair Plus, Emirates Skywards, Miles & More, SkyTeam, Wizz Air Discount Club, EasyJet Plus) cannot be used to pay for package holidays or parts thereof.
Instalment Payment
The buyer can choose the "Instalment Payment" option and split the payment via Klarna.

Our prices include all taxes, fees, and airport charges. The following additions are not included in the total price:
-

If cancellation protection was purchased at the time of booking and an obstacle occurs according to the rules of the cancellation protection, cancellation of all or parts of the travel components must occur immediately after the obstacle has occurred. The trip must always be canceled before departure to allow a potential refund. Only the buyer or lead traveler can cancel a booked trip. In case of cancellation outside our office hours, the airline and/or hotel should always be contacted directly. Afterward, inform Lumi Tours of the actions taken.
Passports, Visas, and Vaccinations
As a traveler, you are responsible for having a valid passport, visa, transit visa, necessary vaccinations, and any other required documents for the country you will visit during your trip.
Many countries require that the passport be valid for a certain period after the return date. It is the traveler's responsibility to ensure that the passport complies with the destination country's requirements.
Most countries outside the EU require a return ticket and/or onward ticket from the country. If you cannot present this, you risk being denied boarding at the departure airport or upon arrival in the country. If you are not a Swedish citizen, the above may also apply within the EU. In such cases, no refund or rebooking will be possible.
Information on Requirements and Restrictions
The customer is responsible for finding out and complying with local restrictions and rules that apply to the country and destination they are traveling to. The customer is also responsible for finding out and following any restrictions that apply during a layover in another country or when traveling to or from a country other than their home country.
Travel with Disabilities or Special Needs
If the customer or a travel companion has a disability or specific needs, it is important to contact Lumi Tours before booking to ensure that the trip can be adjusted accordingly. If assistance is needed at the airport or on the plane, this must be ordered and approved by the airline well in advance of departure.
Hotels, Car Rentals, and Transfers
If the provided service does not correspond with what was booked, this must be immediately pointed out to the hotel, car rental company, or transfer company. If no correction is made, the customer must immediately contact Lumi Tours for action. Lumi Tours cannot resolve any issues after the trip has been completed.
Complaints
If a complaint arises during the trip, the issue must be immediately reported to the supplier (airline, hotel, etc.). If no resolution is found, contact Lumi Tours for further investigation. Complaints must include the booking reference, departure date, destination, a detailed description of the problem, and a written statement from the supplier. The processing time may be 3-6 weeks.
